About Walter O. Epting

Walter Epting established the firm in 1987 while working as a Medicaid Fraud Examiner. Walter was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1980 and spent a number of years auditing governmental agencies and examining banks regulated by the State of Colorado. Walter gained a lot of tax experience in the 1970’s and was among the early converts to computer-prepared income tax returns.

Walter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Prairie View A&M University and a degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado. Additionally, Walter holds an insurance license, passed the Series 6 securities exam and holds certificates as a Chartered Senior Financial Planner (CSFP) and a Private Annuity Trust Advisor (PATA).
